Fort Hays State football will be hosting its annual Spring Scrimmage on Saturday, April 18 at Lewis Field Stadium. The scrimmage is set to begin at 9:30 a.m.The scrimmage Saturday concludes spring practices that have occurred since late March. There will be no scoring for the game as it is strictly just a scrimmage format.
The Tigers are coming off a 7-4 record in 2014, their best record since joining the MIAA in 2006. FHSU tied for fourth in the conference, its highest finish ever in the MIAA. With the eligibility of several seniors exhausted last year, the Tigers will have several new faces on the field battling for playing time.
The Tigers have just four starters back on the defensive side of the ball. All four are seniors this year. However, the Tigers lost only two starters on offense.
The public is welcome to attend the scrimmage, FREE of charge. Come out and get a first look at several of the Tigers that will be taking the field in the Fall of 2015.
