Registration open for third annual Run/Walk to Help Children Talk

The third annual 5K Run/Walk to Help Children Talk, hosted by Fort Hays State University’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and Scottish Rite Masons, will be Saturday, April 25, at Municipal Park, First and Main, Hays. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. The race starts at 11 a.m.

Proceeds go towards FHSU’s Herndon Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic to help support children’s speech therapy services and for materials needed at the clinic.

The deadline for early registration is Friday, April 17. The cost is $15 for FHSU students, $20 for adults and $10 for children. Anyone registering after the early registration date will pay an additional $5. Early registration includes race entry, T-shirt and a ticket for lunch at the post-race celebration.

Participants have the option to sign up for either the 5K, one-mile walk or post-race celebration only.
