Science Cafe to shed light on night storms

For many the most fearful storms are the one that occur after dark. With a goal of spreading understanding of those storms, the next Science Cafe will present, “Night Storms,” Thursday, April 9 with postdoctoral fellow David Bodine at Gella’s Diner, 117 E. 11th St.

The event is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

Bodine is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Center for Atmospheric Research and has postgraduate degrees in Atmospheric Science/Meteorology and Electrical Engineering.

The event is free and open to the public.

Science Cafes’ in Hays are sponsored by the FHSU Science and Mathematics Education Institute.
