The RiverHawks rolled quickly in doubles action, allowing just one point to FHSU over the three matches. The No. 2 team of Brittney Ricci and Katie Hipp were the only FHSU duo to score, falling 8-1 in their match.
NSU swept the singles matches in straight sets. Camille Caron-Bedard lost to the 17th-ranked player in the nation, Kristina Savchenkov, 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 1 position. Ricci has three points in a 6-2, 6-1 loss to Patricia Husakova at No. 2. Michelle Miller was shutout at No. 3 by Molly Worden. Daria Panferova allowed just one point in a 6-1, 6-0 win over Reinette Strydom at No. 4.
The No. 5 and No. 6 matches were a bit closer. Katie Hipp lost to Barbara Jirickova 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 5 position, and Jessica Johnson lost 6-3, 6-3 at the No. 6 position to Easton Parker.
The Tigers play a pair of conference matches next weekend on the road at Northwest Missouri State (Mar. 20) and Missouri Western (Mar. 21).
