With the beginning of this month, the famous holiday red cups are now out, and for the first time in five years, Starbucks is releasing it’s first new holiday beverage.
This means that the Pumpkin Spice Latte is off the menu and a new set of holiday drinks are in.
The Chestnut Praline Latte first debuted last year in a few select cities and will now be available to coffee-lovers nation-wide. The new holiday drink will be made from chestnut praline syrup and steamed milk topped with whipped cream and crunchy praline crumbles, and don’t forget espresso. While you can customize any drink at Starbucks to your liking, the new beverage is free of chestnuts and nuts, just like the Pumpkin Spiced Latte, which doesn’t have any pumpkin in it at all. Which means anyone with an allergy can enjoy the new holiday beverage too.
Some returning favorites on the menu include Caramel Brulee Latte, Peppermint Mocha, Gingerbread Latte, Eggnog Latte, Toffee Nut Latte and Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha. So make sure when Wednesday comes around, you make your way to the Memorial Union Starbucks to try the new holiday beverage.
