Sternberg Museum will present a mysterious movie as a part of its “Campus Movie Night” series 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Memorial Union Ballroom.
Moviegoers receive clues in the form of a Haiku. They are then given a chance to guess the title of the film beforehand and potentially win a prize that is as mysterious as the film itself.
“It helps create some suspense, not knowing beforehand what will be shown,” said Marcella McCluskey, public relations spokesperson for Sternberg.
One thing that is certain about the film this Friday is that it will be about science.
“These events are designed to engage the community in learning about and discussing topics in science,” said David Levering, creator of the series. “We were really in need of a new way to engage people in the community in the world of science, and movies seemed to make sense.”
Upcoming movie nights for the series are scheduled for Oct. 3 and Oct. 17.
