During Hays Public Library’s Treats Around the World, attendees could sample six different dishes and vote on their favorites. Treats included: Spain’s Castanas, U.S’s Caramel Apple nachos, Mexico’s Atole, Russia’s Sharlotka, Germany’s Karonttensalat, and China’s Mooncakes.
The most popular dish of the evening was Sharlotka from Russia.
