On Thursday, multiple students from the Department of Informatics of Fort Hays State University and Tiger Media Network participated in the annual Kansas Association of Broadcasters convention in Kansas City, Missouri.
FHSU students earned four first-place awards, seven second-place honors and four honorable mention certificates.
Students who made the trip to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium included Kyson Evans, Garrett Wellbrock, Connor Adams, Brynn Ray, Katie Kuhlman, Eli Blankinship, Abigail Shearer, Evan Liess and Parker Nisbeth.
