Katharinenstadt’s Essenfest took place Sunday at Kennedy Middle School. The event included a cook-off organized by St. Catherine’s Christian Mothers. Participants prepared German dishes for a competition. Attendees paid a fee to sample the entries and vote in the People’s Choice Awards. The event also included music, a bake sale, and a raffle. Proceeds supported local causes.
