Encounter is one of the student groups on campus committed to deepening faith and relationships with Jesus Christ.
“If you’ve ever been in a Youth Group, this is a welcoming space where you can connect and engage with like-minded individuals,” said Encounter intern and member Ruthie Webster.
Encounter handed out free coffee on Tuesday morning at the Union. This was to help start everyone’s day with a smile and a coffee of their choice. They also discussed what Encounter is to those who were interested.
Encounter is hosting a special event on Wednesday featuring a free Pancake Feed starting at 6:45 pm. This is an opportunity to enjoy warm pancakes, conversation, and to learn more about what Encounter has to offer.
“We can’t wait to expand our community,” Webster said.

The group holds regular meetings every Wednesday evening at 7:15 PM at Celebration Community Church.
