On Saturday, FHSU Student Government Association hosted the GREEN Day of Service on campus for students to perform community service around the community. The project saw students clean up the backyard of the Hays Humane Society, clean and mow the Victor E Garden, itemize and organize donated items at the CASA of the High Plains, participate in the 41st Street Rotary Cleanup, make bracelets for Jana’s Campaign, clean up after the 9/11 Stair Climb, cut down trees at the Bethesda Place and clean windows at the Developmental Services of Northwestern Kansas.
