JOPLIN, MO. – Regan Hodsden finished in 51st place on Saturday (Nov. 18) at the NCAA DII Championships race held at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course in Joplin, Mo. The meet featured 264 total racers and 34 programs vying for the national title.
Hodsden just slightly missed out on All-American status by 11 places, but she was able to post a personal-best 6K time on the day with a 20:54.5. Hodsden, who took home All-American honors last season, finished the highest in the race out of all MIAA conference competitors.
Grand Valley State took home the team title with 59 points, placing four racers in the top-15. Adams State and Colorado School of Mines followed behind for second and third.
Lindsay Cunningham of Winona State won the race, breaking 20 minutes with a 19:30.1 mark.
