STERLING, Kan. – Fort Hays State and Sterling College were able to get their match underway on Tuesday (Sept. 26), but storms entered the area and forced the cancellation of the competition. The teams were in the middle of doubles play when the weather entered the area.
The match will not be made up. Fort Hays State will finish the fall at 3-1 overall. They will play Barton (Kan.) Community College in a scrimmage on Friday (Sept. 29) at 3 p.m. to finish out their fall schedule and will resume in the spring on February 24 at Hastings College.
