Lucas Hammeke added to the Tigers lead when he pulled up for a jumper near the 10 foot line and got a foul. Traejon Davis has possession of the ball on the perimeter as he looks to see what his options are on offense. “We know how hard it is to win in the MIAA,” said Davis. “You have to give 100% effort the whole game to stay competitive in the conference.” Geoff Hamperian plants the ball on the backboard to avoid a defender’s attempt at blocking his layup. With another jumper, Kaleb Hammeke scores for the Tigers. Jaheim Holden locks onto his man in a full-court defense. Peters receives the ball in the paint and works the defense to find an open shot near the goal. “We struggled some with shooting but pushed all the way through the buzzer and fought throughout the whole game.” Iyen Enaruna shoots over defenders. Kaleb Hammeke drives through a Loper to penetrate the defense and steal a layup. Davis going in for a slam dunk. “This win was great,” said Davis. “It was just what we needed after losing the last 2 of our 3 games to get us back on track.” Bjarni Jonsson stole the ball from the Lopers near half court and was able to get a wide open shot to the goal. Lucas Hammeke secures the Tigers win with a shot from the block in the last few seconds of game play.
