No. 8 ranked Marty Verhaeghe and No. 12 Tereus Henry faced off with the No. 1 wrestler in their respective weight classes and kept the matches within three points as Verhaeghe fell 6-3 to Heath Gray at 184 and Henry fell 3-0 to Dalton Abney at 197. In exhibition matches, Rhett Edmonson was pinned in 6:18 at 149 pounds and Anthony Caldwell scored a 2-1 win.
