Budke, Angram-Boldin earn regional honors

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Fort Hays State tight end Hunter Budke and offensive lineman Amari Angram-Boldin were named to the D2CCA All-Super Region 3 First Team for the 2021 season. Both were All-MIAA First Team selections at their respective positions. The D2CCA All-Super Region Team is voted on by sports information directors and athletic communications professionals within Super Region 3 of NCAA Division II.

Budke, a junior from Beloit, Kansas, was the top receiving tight end in the MIAA in 2021, finishing with 47 receptions for 620 yards and eight touchdowns. He twice had over 100 receiving yards in a game this season with nine catches for 122 yards as his season high at Missouri Western. He produced four or more receptions in seven of 11 contests. Budke led the Tigers in receiving touchdowns for the season.

Angram-Boldin, a senior from Pahokee, Florida, is now a two-time All-Super Region 3 selection, also receiving honors from the Don Hansen Football Committee in 2018. Angram-Boldin is a three-time All-MIAA selection on the offensive line. He was a second-team selection in 2018, a third-team pick in 2019, and a first-team selection in 2021. Angram-Boldin was a mainstay on the offensive line for the Tigers over the last three seasons, starting 34 consecutive games. He started all 11 this season at left guard. Angram-Boldin helped the Tigers rank third in the MIAA in total offense at 460.3 yards per game, second in passing offense, and fourth in rushing offense.

Fort Hays State was one of three schools to have two members on the offensive first team.
