Christmas is just around the corner (after Thanksgiving of course) but the city of Hays has already started the holiday season by kicking off FrostFest.
FrostFest signifies the start of the holiday season in Downtown Hays. Last week FrostFest began with Holiday Open Houses. Many of the boutiques downtown were filled with the sound of Christmas music and busy shoppers.
Various businesses downtown were having sales, giving out samples, and sharing holiday treats. More events will happen throughout November and December like small businesses Saturday (Downtown’s Black Friday), the Annual Tree Lighting on Dec. 3 and the Illuminated Frostfest Parade on Dec. 18.
All events are open to the public and free of charge. For event dates and more information visit www.downtownhays.com/frostfest-season or www.facebook.com/DowntownHays.
