Fort Hays State volleyball coach Jessica Wood-Atkins has released the Tigers’ 2021 spring schedule, set to begin on Sunday, Feburary 21 inside Gross Memorial Coliseum. The Tigers are scheduled to play 12 matches before competing in the MIAA Tournament April 16-17.
After the fall season was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the MIAA and its member insitutions worked together to formulate a plan for a spring season. At the conclusion of the season, all teams will be invited to the MIAA Tournament to be held in Topeka, Kan. April 16-17.
Fort Hays State opens the season at home with a four-team event on Feburary 21. The Tigers will play Emporia State at 1 p.m. before facing off with Newman at 5 p.m. Nebraska-Kearney will play the teams in alternate order on a second court inside the Coliseum.
Every effort will be made to provide live video of home contests via The MIAA Network.
The Tigers will also be at home for single matches on March 12-13 and April 1-2.
