In a time characterized by face masks and social distancing, live music has become a taboo topic of conversation. With shows and tours being canceled across the country in favor of live streams, concert-goers are looking for the deafening roar and atmosphere of a packed venue.
While this traditional COVID-free concert experience may still be in the distant future, local musicians are searching for ways to keep the music alive under current restrictions.
One such event is Student Engagement’s Jammin Across Campus taking place Thursday and Friday. The event will start at 6 pm in the Quad and will feature music from local bands DoC Thursday and Primair on Friday.
Friday will be Primair’s first live performance since before COVID-19 restrictions first went into place in March.
As with all Student Engagement events, attendees will be required to wear face masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
