On Wednesday (June 17), the MIAA released conference schedules for all 11 of its volleyball playing members. Though dates have been provided for the 20-match conference schedule by the MIAA, coaches of member schools are looking to possibly consolidate dates of conference matches (play more than one conference match in a day) in order to add non-conference match dates.
The Division II Presidents Council back on May 20 reduced the maximum number of regular season playing dates to 20 in 2020. Volleyball counts “dates” of competition rather than “matches”.
Adjusting dates for conference matches will be subject to an approval process by the MIAA office. All match dates and times are subject to change in the coming weeks.
Look for a full release from FHSU in the coming days when the schedule is completely finalized.
