Relive the game when Fort Hays State clinched its first MIAA Football Championship in 2017, FREE-TO-VIEW on Thursday night (Apr. 23) on The MIAA Network, or on Facebook – @TheMIAA as part of the MIAA Classics series. The Tigers knocked off Northwest Missouri State on the road in nail-biting fashion, a battle of Top-10 nationally ranked teams.
Fort Hays State went on to complete an undefeated regular season a week later and this game was a springboard to another great season in 2018 as the Tigers claimed yet another MIAA title. Watch the game where the Tigers dethrone the Bearcats fresh off two-straight undefeated national championship seasons, while ending their streak of four-straight MIAA titles.
The Fort Hays State vs. Northwest Missouri State football game from 2017 is one of 11 games chosen by the conference office for its MIAA Classics schedule in the coming weeks. The schedule will run for 10 weeks. Fort Hays State is also featured in the eighth week of the schedule as fans can relive the 2018 MIAA Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament semifinal between FHSU and Pittsburg State.
