In Tuesday morning’s daily release of information involving COVID-19 cases in the state, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment listed four positive cases in Ellis County.
The website was updated at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The KDHE listed four cases in Ellis County, and 32 people tested.
Statewide, there have been 1,426 cases. According to KDHE, a case is defined as a person who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), which causes COVID-19.
Kansas has reported 69 deaths, 327 hospitalizations and 12,721 negative tests. Only 28.6% of positive cases have required hospitalization.
All four positive cases came from private labs performing tests. The cases involve two females and two males, according to the KDHE website.
