In an announcement Monday afternoon, Fort Hays State University President Tisa Mason said classes for on-campus students would be canceled the rest of this week (March 16 to 20).
The announcement states the closing will begin at 4:30 p.m. Monday (March 16) and continue through March 20. Spring Break is scheduled for next week at FHSU.
Classes that are currently online will continue in that format this week.
The transition to online classes will continue for the period beginning after Spring Break.
Students living on campus are expected to begin preparations to move home before 5 p.m. Tuesday (March 17). They are asked to bring all personal belongings with them, including textbooks and course material.
