All-session tickets for the 2020 MIAA Basketball Championship Tournament in Kansas City are currently being sold by the Fort Hays State Athletics Office for $50. By purchasing early through FHSU, you receive a $25 discount since walk-up cost of all-session tickets in Kansas City is $75. The MIAA Basketball Championships take place inside historic Municipal Auditorium March 4-8.
This is the second year the conference will have a 10-team format for both women and men, with all games inside of Municipal Auditorium. Games take place over five consecutive days, with seeds seven through 10 playing opening round games on Wednesday, March 4. Thursday, March 5 will feature the top two seeds against Wednesday’s winners. Quarterfinal games on Friday, March 6 will be the three through sixth seeds. The semifinals will be on Saturday, March 7 with the Championship games scheduled for Sunday, March 8.
Single-session tickets for the tournament are $20 each. Student tickets are $5 each and children ages 6 and under are FREE. Act fast to take advantage of the cost savings, as supplies are limited through the FHSU Athletics Office until they run out.
All three types of tickets are available now at the FHSU Athletic Office, located in Cunningham Hall 138, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays or by calling 785-628-4050. The tickets will also be on sale at Gate 1 during the final five regular season home games (February 1, 6, 8, 20, and 22).
