On the evening of Saturday, November 16th, The Paisley Pear Bistro in downtown Hays hosted a national touring classical guitarist, visual artist, and writer from Kansas City, Joshua Merello as a part of his Equilibrium Tour.
Merello utilizes his only classical guitar and a loop pedal to display purely instrumental music for his audience. The Neo-classical, Latin, and Blues musical art styles are of Merello’s most authentic, therefore he blends all three into one musical experience that encourages his audience to focus inward on their own minds, and not get crowded out by the constant noise of the external world.
This event took place from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. as visitors of the bistro came and went as they were able to enjoy a beverage and listen to Josh’s music on the fine November evening.
