Approximately 500 tickets remain for reserved seating on the west side of Lewis Field for the Fort Hays State football matchup against Northwest Missouri State on Saturday, Nov. 9. The Senior Day kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
Fans can stop by the FHSU Athletics office, Cunningham 138, beginning at noon Monday, Nov. 4 to secure their seat. Fans will receive a limited edition rally towel, pictured below, with each reserved ticket purchased. Tickets are also available online or over the phone at (785) 628-4050, but rally towels will only be distributed to those who purchase the tickets in person. Reserved tickets are available for $16.
Both the Tigers (6-2, 6-2 MIAA) and Bearcats (7-1, 7-1 MIAA) remain in the hunt for an MIAA title and a spot in the NCAA Division II Playoffs. The Tigers are receiving votes in the latest coaches poll and ranked 25th in the D2Football.com poll, while Northwest enters week nine 14th according to the coaches and 16th in the D2Football.com ranks. The Bearcats are three spots ahead of FHSU in the initial Super Region 3 ranks, sitting in sixth while the Tigers are ninth.
Northwest Missouri State has not traveled to Hays since 2016, with the Tigers going on the road to defeat the Bearcats each of the last two seasons en route to a pair of MIAA Championships. Northwest has not lost in Hays since 1968, coming away victorious in each of its last five trips to Lewis Field.
The Tigers will recognize 17 seniors before kickoff, a group that has won 34 games and counting over the last four years.
