Due to a weekend weather system that is affecting the Hays and Kearney (NE) areas this weekend and field conditions in both locations, the MIAA doubleheaders scheduled for Fort Hays State Softball against Northeastern State and Central Oklahoma have been pushed further to Monday and Tuesday (Apr. 1-2). The start time of each doubleheader is now 2 pm. FHSU faces NSU on Monday, and then UCO on Tuesday.
Fort Hays State is 5-3 in MIAA play so far this season and 12-11 overall. Northeastern State is 7-1 so far in MIAA action and enters Monday’s doubleheader at 19-12 overall. Central Oklahoma enters the weekend 26-2 overall and 8-0 in the MIAA, ranked No. 2 in the nation. The Bronchos will play at Nebraska-Kearney on Monday before taking on FHSU in Hays on Tuesday.
