Fort Hays State Softball will wait a couple more days to play its first MIAA contests of the 2019 season. In order to let field conditions improve, the home doubleheaders against Missouri Southern and Pittsburg State, scheduled for Friday and Saturday originally, have moved to Sunday (Mar. 17) and Monday (Mar. 18).
Doubleheaders on both Sunday and Monday are set to begin at 12 pm. FHSU will enter its conference opener at 7-8 overall. Missouri Southern enters Sunday at 8-7 overall and 1-1 in the MIAA, while Pittsburg State enters the weekend 11-12 overall, also 1-1 in the MIAA.
