Fort Hays State head women’s golf coach Rich Guffey has announced the signing of a pair of student-athletes for the 2019-20 season. Riley Hunter and Kate Peterka will both join the Tigers as freshmen in the fall.
Riley Hunter heads to Hays via Maize High School in Wichita, Kan. She was a four-time state qualifier, finishing as high as 20th as a senior in 2018.
Kate Peterka joins the Tigers after four years at Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Texas. Peterka has picked up a pair of all-district honors, earning the award as a sophomore in 2017 and again as a junior in 2018
