On Wednesday, September 12th, the Forsyth Library opened up President Tisa Mason’s inauguration exhibit to the public. President Mason has been president of Fort Hays State University since 2017 but her official inauguration ceremony will take place this Friday, September 14th, at 10 am in Gross Memorial Coliseum.
President Mason had an exhibit put together in celebration of this event showing all the letters and certificates of congratulations. Many letters came from universities all across the country and some even came internationally. Forsyth Library hosted this exhibit and it will be on display until after homecoming week. This event was open to all students, faculty, as well as members of the community. President Mason gave a quick speech of gratitude for all the support she has received and to celebrate the university as well.
