It’s the time of year again for high school juniors and seniors, and transfer students to look at potential college options.
This year, Fort Hays State University is hosting Tiger Day on November 9. High school juniors and seniors, as well as college-transfer students are invited to come and experience all that FHSU has to offer. To attend, students must RSVP by November 2, at www.fhsu.edu/admissions/tiger-day.
According to FHSU’s Admissions Office website, “Tiger Day provides you with an excellent opportunity to attain important information regarding academic majors, scholarships, financial aid, student life, athletics, co-curricular activities and more.”
At 8:15 a.m. prospective students will register in the Memorial Union Ballroom. The Academic and Co-curricular Fair will also run until 9:15 a.m.
From 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prospective students will attend a welcoming ceremony and the Admissions Office will have a presentation.
Following the presentations, prospective students will be able to visit their academic departments, and attend a student panel. Attendees will be able to ask current FHSU students questions about classes and other FHSU events and activities.
At 12:30 p.m. prospective students will have the option to tour the academic buildings and the residential halls on campus.
