The fury of Mother Nature hit again Tuesday in Kansas.
High winds pushed large wildfires in multiple locations in western Kansas, and the strong winds also caused blowing dust leading to dust storm warnings.
The wind was so strong in Logan County, it reportedly broke out a window in a residence, and caused power poles to snap in other locations of southwest Kansas.
A 75-mph wind gust was reported near Garden City, while Hays had a 61-mph gust reported at the airport, according to the National Weather Service office in Dodge City.
