Fort Hays State senior, Rachel Rayner, caps a multi-emphasis program (Music/English/German) by spending a year in Essen Germany. Her plan is to maintain a blog designed to provide insight and information for future exchange students transitioning to German culture. Ms. Rayner wishes to share her broadened view of the world with friends, family, and others interested in taking a similar path.
In an email to the TMN, Ms. Rayner remarked, “I am keeping a blog because I am the first FHSU student to participate in the University of Duisburg-Essen exchange… I hope that my insights will help promote this partnership and make exchange process easier for students next year.”
