On Thursday, September 21, 2017, the Residential Hall Association held their weekly meeting on the second floor of McMindes Hall. As per general meetings go, most of the discussion consisted of executives changing their office hours as well as officer reports and hall reports from the various residential communities on the main campus.
The main topics of conversation were held over FHSU Homecoming events and upcoming executive elections. At this current time, three positions on the executive board remain unfilled: President, Secretary, and National Communications Coordinator.
“We originally had a president till complications forced him to step down,” stated Interim/Vice President Kyle Ochampaugh. “Neither of the other positions, secretary, and national communications coordinator were ever filled.”
Representatives from each community council, consisting of RHA Rep. and the president, have up to two votes on any matters, including the executive elections.
Stadium Place/Tiger Village RHA Representative John Carter said, “I expect the upcoming candidates to be decorous and qualified for the position they are running for.”
Executive Officer Elections will be held next week, Thursday, September 28, 2017, on the second floor of the McMindes Hall at 6:30 pm.
