Tiger Football is now 2-0, after their 35-6 win on Thursday to the Ranked No. 13 Central Missouri Mules. After this victory, the FHSU Tigers attained the No. 21 rank in the NCAA Division II. This is the first time that the FHSU Tigers have been ranked in their division since 1996.
For the first time in the program’s history, FHSU football was ranked No. 21 in the AFCA Division II Top 25 Poll and ranked No. 17 in the D2Football.com Poll. Tiger Defensive Lineman, Nathan Shepherd was also named the MIAA Defensive Athlete of the Week for his part in the Tiger’s victory against Central Missouri.
The FHSU Tigers will be playing the unranked Central Oklahoma Bronchos in Edmond, Oklahoma on September 16th at 7 pm.
