The Student Government Association is hosting the Big Event this weekend on Sunday, April 2nd from 8 am to 4 pm. The SGA uses the Big Event to promote community service and involvement in Hays amongst college students and the community.
Students volunteering will participate in various service projects around the city of Hays. Last year, around 200 volunteers completed 26 different projects. The project’s participants will be working on include painting, community clean-up, sorting clothes, and gardening.
