SEWARD, Neb. – The Fort Hays State women’s track and field squad had a solid day of competition at the Concordia Invitational on Friday (Feb. 10). The Tigers won seven events, including two individual wins from both Kelly Wycoff and Lauren Roberts.

Wycoff took home top honors in both the 60 meters and 200 meters. She crossed the line in 7.81 seconds in the 60 meters and 25.34 seconds in the 200 meters. Due to the track size, Wycoff’s 200-meter time produced a NCAA provisional mark, converted to 24.96 seconds that places her 29th on the national performance list.

Roberts had a great day in the middle distances, winning the 1,000 meters and mile run. In the 1,000, she ran a time of 3:05.96, while in the mile, she ran 5:15.90.

Yamoudji Diarra and Shea Bonine each picked up individual wins. Diarra claimed the 400 meters in 1:00.52 and Bonine won the 3,000 meters in a time of 10:45.54.

Wycoff and Diarra were also a part of the winning 4×400 meter relay team, joining Peri Lange and Amber Forbes. They were the only team in the field to break four minutes at 3:59.02.

The Tigers will have split-squad action next week with the Steve Miller Open and Nebraska Tune-Up both scheduled for Friday (Feb. 17).
