Fort Hays State University has an Esports team and is now looking for members. They are currently participating in a tournament called the Hearthstone tournament. They play games like Rocket League, League of Legends, Heroes of the Storm, and many others. The Esports team is part of ATSO as well as TigerLAN and are open to taking more suggestions on future games to play in competitions.
The Hearthstone team has been doing well for the game of Heroes of the Storm. Fort Hays State University needs two more wins to go to make it to the playoffs. As for the Overwatch part of the Hearthstone competition, Fort Hays University needs to one more win in order to make it to the playoffs.
In addition to the Hearthstone competition, they are looking for one more World of Warcraft players for a dungeon race team in addition to the hearthstone competition. Any student is allowed to join. That includes full-time students, part-time students, and the students at the virtual college.
This tournament is in the Tespa Collegiate series with scholarships for the winners. There are only five teams competing currently, so it could be a really great turnout. The deadline for signup is November 6th.
