HAYS, Kan. — Each of 10 students from Phillipsburg, Logan, Norton, Lenora, Glade and Goodland has been awarded $6,000 in Fischli-Wills Memorial Scholarships for the 2015-16 academic school year at Fort Hays State University.
The scholarship fund awards students from any FHSU department who maintain a 3.0 GPA with preference given, respectively, to first-time freshmen from Phillips County, returning students from Phillips County, any student from Norton or Graham Counties, any student from Western Kansas, and graduates from a high school in Valentine, Neb.

Jacque Bretton, Phillipsburg, a sophomore majoring in sociology, is a 1990 Phillipsburg High School graduate.
Nathan Felton, Norton, a junior majoring in psychology, is a 2009 Norton High School graduate.
Morgan Goble, Logan, a freshman majoring in education, is a 2015 Logan High School graduate.
Michaela Gower, Phillipsburg, a senior majoring in elementary education, is a 2013 Phillipsburg High School graduate.
Mindy Gower, Phillipsburg, a freshman majoring in education, is a 2015 Phillipsburg High School graduate.
Christie Gellatly, Lenora, a sophomore majoring in biology, is a 2014 Hill City High School graduate.
Kollette Keenten, Glade, a freshman majoring in art, is a 2015 Phillipsburg High School graduate.
Whitney Mulder, Logan, a senior majoring in nursing, is a 2013 Logan High School graduate.
Courtney Schneider, Goodland, a freshman majoring in athletic training, is a 2015 Logan High School graduate.
Raegan Vanderplas, Phillipsburg, a senior majoring in education, is a 2012 Philipsburg High School graduate.
