Fort Hays State men’s basketball continues to receive votes in the latest NABC Division II Poll, released on Tuesday (Dec. 1). The Tigers received 19 votes this week after earning 13 in the first regular-season poll last week. However, in the supplemental D2SIDA Media Poll, the Tigers check in at No. 24 this week.
Central Missouri is the only MIAA team referenced in the official NABC national poll. The Mules moved up to No. 12 this week after moving into the poll last week at No. 16. Fort Hays State is the top receiving votes team from the MIAA while Northwest Missouri State and Pittsburg State are also receiving votes.
In the D2SIDA Media Poll, the Tigers at No. 24 join Central Missouri in the top 25. The Mules are rated eight spots higher in the D2SIDA Poll at No. 4.
The Tigers are off to a 5-0 start and face in-state rivals Washburn and Emporia State this week at home to open MIAA play.
