Fort Hays State Men’s Basketball returns to the court on Wednesday night (Nov. 18) against Central Christian (Kan.) College. Tipoff is set for 7 pm at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays. FHSU enters the game at 2-0 overall.
Fort Hays State is coming off a pair of thrilling victories at home this past weekend. The Tigers edged Southwest Minnesota State 76-75 in the season opener, fighting off a last second shot attempt by SMSU, then won 62-60 over Sioux Falls as Kenny Enoch buried the game-winning jumper with one second remaining in the game.
Central Christian is 5-1 so far on the season and brings a four-game win streak into the game. Central Christian is led by Michael Gholston, who averages 20.5 points per game. Alonzo Stafford adds 16 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.
This will be the only game of the week for the FHSU men. Following Wednesday, they will have another pair of non-conference games at home next week.
