Men’s Cross Country Takes Sixth at Cowboy Jamboree

Fort Hays State Men’s Cross Country finished sixth in the University Division at the Cowboy Jamboree, hosted by Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla., on Saturday (Sept. 26). The University Division consisted of several NCAA Division I schools.

Cory Keehn led the way for the men finishing sixth overall with a time of 25:02.2, just .8 seconds away from breaking into the top five. Troy Wineinger turned in a solid performance by taking 30th with a time of 26:30.6. Rounding out the scoring for the men were Jacob Thomas (36th in 26:52.2), Seth Parres (38th in 26:56.4), and Jonny Bernasky (41st in 27:05.8).

Next, the Tigers will be home for The FHSU Tiger Open at Sand Plum Nature Trail just outside Victoria, Kan., on Saturday (Oct. 10).
