Roberts ahead of Orman as Close U.S. Senate Race Continues

2004 084Pat Roberts, Republican incumbent has taken his biggest lead of the night over Independent Greg Orman as the heated race for the Kansas U.S. Senate seat rages on.

As the Republican’s potential control of the U.S. Senate hangs in the balance, Republican incumbent Roberts begins to take a solid lead over Orman. The tight race rages on as national news outlets draw eyes nationwide to Kansas. Roberts who sits at 50% currently has 164,078 votes while Orman sits at 46% with 150,496 votes. 831 precincts have reported in with 328,996 votes in total for the state of Kansas.
