The team was able to rack up three provisional marks again today, totaling six on the weekend between all three indoor meets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the Ichabod Invitational, standout performances were evident across multiple events. In the Men&#8217;s 60m Prelims,&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/afdcaa00-0c18-4301-aaf2-005e1f636bbc?elinkdata=225116\">Eddie McVay<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/e290ba7b-d005-4321-a40f-537c80b1ae50?elinkdata=225116\">Toby Wahlmeier<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;showcased their speed, with McVay finishing 22nd and just a third of a second away from his personal best. Wahlmeier, who achieved a personal best in the qualifying dash yesterday (Feb.9) finished close behind in 27th place. In the women&#8217;s 60m hurdles prelims,&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/5f4de987-adb3-4f7b-b741-4455075df4c8?elinkdata=225116\">Hadley Williams<\/a><\/dfn>demonstrated her agility, finishing 26th overall. Williams also competed in the women&#8217;s 200m, showing versatility in her skills. Impressive displays of speed were also seen in the men&#8217;s 200m, where&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/f9ddac01-b96b-40a4-ac13-a5bf43e2fe7c?elinkdata=225116\">Toby Wahlmeier<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;finished 23rd, followed by&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/4af35a60-77a3-4795-a160-ca0db07c593e?elinkdata=225116\">Kenny Fritsch<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;in 37th place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Distance runners from FHSU exhibited endurance and determination in their respective events.&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/75546ad3-bb81-43b7-aa71-4911942df334?elinkdata=225116\">Abbye Hudson<\/a><\/dfn>finished 26th in the women&#8217;s 1 mile, while&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/a933629a-146b-4b44-ac18-a2bbff7e757d?elinkdata=225116\">Daniel Bechle<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;represented the men&#8217;s team, finishing 38th. Garant Bradley showed out to the men&#8217;s 3000m run, where he finished seventh, leading the Tigers in that specific event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fort Hays State University&#8217;s track and field team demonstrated exceptional skill and determination at both the Ichabod Invitational and the Gorilla Classic, with several athletes achieving NCAA Division II provisional marks and securing top-10 finishes. Track &amp; Field continue their season in Kearney, Neb. at the Loper Tune-Up (Feb. 16) as well as the Steve Miller Invitational (Feb. 16) in Manhattan, Kan.
