The Tigers (8-1) forced 22 turnovers in the game, including 14 in the second half, thanks to a season-high 14 steals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lead changed hands four times early on as both teams hit 5-of-12 from the floor in the opening quarter. Tabor led by as many as five midway through the opening frame before&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/5fe5925e-3395-40c3-9007-35df81da7012?elinkdata=221210\">Emma Ruddle<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;rattled off seven-consecutive points, scoring on three of four possessions while adding a block on the defensive end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tabor tied the score at 13 to close out the first quarter, but a layup from&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/36165638-120f-46c1-8788-208ed752bed5?elinkdata=221210\">Jessie Sallach<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;early in the second quarter gave the Tigers the lead for good. Back-to-back buckets from&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/0ae386ee-f493-425b-9ade-6f5de6d07c7f?elinkdata=221210\">Clary Donica<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;helped the FHSU lead reach double figures, 31-21, before a late 3-pointer from&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/07c90ab3-54c6-49a6-ba08-6c08acdacb38?elinkdata=221210\">Megan Earney<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;gave the Tigers a seven-point lead at the break, 36-29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bluejays closed within two possessions early in the second half before Fort Hays State rattled off 12-consecutive points, holding Tabor scoreless for nearly seven minutes.&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/5f5ffdf6-2db2-4e3e-969d-ace0aee1d8ac?elinkdata=221210\">Katie Wagner<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;contributed six points during the run while both Ruddle and&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/08c31cb9-b95e-4ded-9084-c63a4edc485d?elinkdata=221210\">Ellie Stearns<\/a><\/dfn>knocked down 3-pointers to put FHSU up by 17, 50-33.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fort Hays State continued to pour it on in the fourth quarter thanks to a strong 10 minutes from Donica. The graduate student racked up 13 points in the frame on 6-of-8 shooting while adding four rebounds and one steal. She finished the game with 17 points, her personal-best in a Tiger uniform, and a team-high five rebounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wagner and Ruddle both added 10 points each, with Stearns,&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/57c3f431-af7c-4dfc-8f1a-59c517594e00?elinkdata=221210\">Brooke Loewe<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/a10b9f9c-d63b-4521-b04a-0bcd99aba4f7?elinkdata=221210\">Kate Dilsaver<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;all distributing three assists in the win. The Tigers finished the game shooting 47.4 percent from the floor (27-of-57) while limiting Tabor to a shooting percentage of 37.2 percent (16-of-43).
