Fort Hays State Men’s Basketball announced the signing of a pair of Kansas high school seniors. Joining the Tigers in 2024-25 will be Tory Homan and Eli Lawson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Homan is currently a senior at Maize South High School in Maize, Kansas. As a junior in 2022-23 he was an all-state honorable mention selection by The Wichita Eagle and Sports in Kansas. He averaged 11.2 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, helping his team to a Class 5A State Championship quarterfinal appearance. Homan stands at 6-feet, 7-inches tall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lawson is currently a senior at Bennington High School in Bennington, Kansas. As a junior in 2022-23 he was an All-State First Team selection by Sports in Kansas and a Second Team selection by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association and The Wichita Eagle. He has averaged a double-double the last two years, including 18.2 points and 11.5 rebounds per game as a junior and 20 points and 10.3 rebounds per game as a sophomore. He helped his team to a State Championship quarterfinal appearance as well in Class 2A. Lawson is also 6-feet, 7-inches tall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
