Mike Schneider will be making his way back to Hays for his presentation of \u2018Pint Size Polka: Music & Magic Friendzy\u2019 from 2-3:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the Schmidt Gallery at the Hays Public Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Pint Sized Polkas website, this summer will be Mike’s busiest since 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMike will be traveling as far west as Gallup, NM, and as far east as Falls Church, VA,\u201d the site said. \u201cHe’ll be crisscrossing the country doing nearly 130 shows at libraries, community parks, and other special venues.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hays will be among one of those stops along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sara Doyle, a learning experience coordinator at the Hays Public Library, explains that this is the second time Pint-Size Polka has come to the HPL in Hays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLast year was the first year, and the kids enjoyed it so much, we brought it back,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Doyle continues with an overall description of the one-hour event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMike Schneider, the performer for Pint-Size Polka, will bring kindness and friendship to the library with his “Music & Magic Friendzy” program, but it’s so much more than music,\u201d Doyle said. \u201cTrivia questions, jokes, a special edition of name-that-tune, and magic tricks will entertain kids and adults alike.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As with many activities or events at the HPL, Doyle makes sure to mention that there is no cost of admission for participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd best of all, it’s 100% free,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Doyle goes on to say that while the event is open to all age groups, it will most likely be enjoyed by younger children who might not have a background in polka music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPint-Size Polka is the perfect introduction for kids that may not know what polka music is,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
