KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State women’s basketball guard\u00a0Katie Wagner<\/a><\/dfn>\u00a0was one of eight players listed on the 2022 D2CCA Tip-Off All-Classic Team, announced Monday evening (Nov. 8) by the MIAA office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Maize, Kan. native averaged a double-double on the weekend, totaling 26 points, 25 rebounds and two steals across the two contests. She opened the year with 16 points and 12 rebounds against No. 6 West Texas A&M before helping the No. 3 Tigers to a win over Southern Nazarene with 10 points and 13 rebounds. She was a perfect 2-for-2 from behind the arc and hit 10-of-14 free throws while averaging just under 30 minutes per game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next up for the Tigers is a trip to South Dakota for the Courtyard Sioux Falls Tip-Off Classic, hosted by the University of Sioux Falls November 11-12. FHSU will take on Augustana on Friday beginning at 5:30 p.m. before battling the host Cougars on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
