Missouri Southern hosted this year&#8217;s six-kilometer championship race at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/9358f340-e7df-42fd-b8ca-90cb80469422?elinkdata=197302\">Regan Hodsden<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;led the Tigers to the line for the third race in a row, finishing sixth in 21:14.8 to collect All-MIAA status. Joining Hodsden on the all-conference podium was teammate&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/96dd0433-3951-4c43-80ec-708625b0cf94?elinkdata=197302\">Darian Hudgeons<\/a><\/dfn>, who placed 12th with a time of 21:47.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/a83d30c7-e26c-4b13-bccc-2543a98a1d51?elinkdata=197302\">Jaycee Vath<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;finished in 30th place after traversing the course in 22:25.9, while&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/8baa24ac-ffab-4f8e-bd0e-1dcd56c8fe0e?elinkdata=197302\">Elizabeth Fender<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;was less than 10 seconds behind in 37th with a time of 22:34.0.&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/e3bbd221-057c-49b7-baf8-94e43c95bc9d?elinkdata=197302\">Brooke Navarro<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;rounded out the Tiger top five in 50th after crossing the line in 23:05.4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tigers will return to Joplin in two weeks (Nov. 19) for the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships, with the women&#8217;s 6K commencing at 11:15 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Full FHSU Results<\/strong><br>5th &#8211; 24:04.4<br><dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/fc119013-e8b4-4412-9763-a2b562b78c89?elinkdata=197302\">Gretchen Kuffel<\/a><\/dfn>\u00a0&#8211; DNF<br>* indicates All-MIAA honors<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Men<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fort Hays State men&#8217;s cross country team placed 10th at Saturday&#8217;s MIAA Championships, hosted by Missouri Southern State at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/772b1a94-8886-46e3-aaef-2536f38fbd0b?elinkdata=197366\">Jaret Pfizenmaier<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;led the team to the finish line for the second race in a row, placing 30th with a time of 25:06.6.&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/12bee994-36e3-4357-9a78-195ea842d3ee?elinkdata=197366\">Trever Medina<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;navigated the eight-kilometer course in 25:58.0, finishing 62nd, with&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/37c6b321-1aa8-42ff-b6a8-dd0e2fce6f8b?elinkdata=197366\">Aaron Mangan<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;(25:59.5) just behind in 63rd.&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/8229e50a-4e3f-4d77-8acf-cfa22b7252ea?elinkdata=197366\">Erick Estrada<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;crossed the line in 26:06.4, good for 67th place, with&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/40b7bfe6-b483-4409-8d3b-ac94f0815f13?elinkdata=197366\">Javyn Contreras<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;rounding out the FHSU top five in 74th with a time of 26:14.2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Missouri Southern won the team title with 41 points thanks to all five runners earning All-MIAA honors, including Gidieon Kimutai (23:38.2) and Ryan Riddle (23:47.9) going 1-2 individually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tigers will return to Joplin in two weeks (Nov. 19) for the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships, with the men&#8217;s 10K beginning at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Full FHSU Results<\/strong><br>10th &#8211;
