Both won one match on the consolation side of singles play in the event.<br><br>Mendez defeated Olivia Flood of Nebraska-Kearney in her first consolation contest by scores of 4-2 and 5-3 after falling in the opening round of the B singles draw. Paz Diaz also took her first match contested in the consolation B bracket, knocking off Taylor Hansard of Ouachita Baptist. Both went 1-2 in singles play for the weekend.<br><br><dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/6d86e955-b577-4ef3-acbe-917c541fe2ad?elinkdata=193462\">Irina Alfonso<\/a><\/dfn>, <dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/5a9e78b1-1188-4671-929d-a32fd9efdcfc?elinkdata=193462\">Stefany Stemmer<\/a><\/dfn>, and <dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/966684f1-b894-4903-8ecb-66e869a08353?elinkdata=193462\">Grace Unruh<\/a><\/dfn> all competed in the event as well, going 0-2 in singles play. The doubles teams of Paz Diaz\/Alfonso and Unruh\/Stemmer each lost one doubles match as well.<br><br>The Tigers are back at home on Wednesday (Sept. 28) for a scrimmage with Barton (Kan.)
